Facts About The Word of God

The Bible is not really one book. It is 66 books bound in one book.
The Bible is divided into 2 sections — The Old Testament, with 39 books and New Testament, with 27 books.
The Bible was written over a period of 1500 years by at least 40 different authors. It was written in at least three different languages by people from all walks of life — poets, shepherds, kings, herdsmen, farmers, prophets, preachers, priests, tax collectors, and physicians. Many times one writer had never read what another writer had written and were miles apart in location. Yet, the Bible reads as one cohesive book, not 66 books.
How is this possible?
God planned the Bible, His Word, from the beginning. He spake His Word to those chosen. We see this in 2 Peter 1:20-21.
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
