His Grace and Blessings is the personal ministry of me, JT Locke.  For some time now, I have been ignoring a quiet, subtle call on my life to encourage others to come to know Jesus and God. 

I’ve been using a multitude of excuses to try to quieten that calling.  Some of those excuses have been the following:

1. But Lord, I’m divorced and you don’t like divorce.  The Lord showed me that he has forgiven me for my faults and is helping me to deal with the anger from my ex- husband’s choice to have other women as his “best or good” friends. 
2. But Lord, I’ve been a Christian for thirty-three years and I still don’t know very much about your Word.  I was asked — so what’s keeping you from studying now?  Then I was told I don’t expect you to know everything about the my Word. I’ll guide you.
3. But Lord, it will alienate people from me.  The answer to that was “it’s really ok.  I’ll bring the kind of people that you need into your life.
4. But Lord, I’m not an eloquant writer.  The answer to that was … “I’m with you.  I’ll give you the words.”

There are many more excuses but all of them are not legitimate.  So here I am, about to start blogging about a subject in which  I’m still a “newbie” even though I’ve been a Christian for thirty-three years. 

I don’t proclaim to have all the answers to all of life’s situations, but I will provide a practical insight to the Lord’s teachings and his Word.
